I love Sunflowers!
I remember as a young girl my mother taking me to the edge of town to the Sunflower fields to take my picture.

This year I am planting 2 types of Sunflowers:
Teddy Bear Sunflowers have beautiful 3-6 inches double, deep yellow blooms. Plants grow to only 18-24 inches tall, and the double blooms are very unique! This is a superb variety.

The Mammoth Sunflower seeds I selected are heirloom seeds with enormous blooms that grow up to 1 ft. across. The yellow flowers can grow 9-12 ft. We plant them for the seeds. We use some for ourselfs and leave some for the birds and squirrels.

I am also planting Early Sunflower seeds. It is a perennial that looks similar to the true sunflower but blooms earlier and longer. I am excited that these are both perennial and early blooming.
