While I continue working on my Grandpa Reynolds line I found that My 12th great grandfather is Sir Henry Hobart.
Sir Henry Hobart, 1st Baronet SL (c. 1560 – 29 December 1625), of Blickling Hall, was an English politician who succeeded Sir Edward Coke to become Chief Justice of the Court of Common Pleas.
So as if my inner history geek was not already on overload I looked up to see if Blickling Hall still stood. And I found it does….and the actual land/original Blickling Hall was in the possession of the Boleyn family, and home to Thomas Boleyn, later Earl of Wiltshire, and his wife Elizabeth between 1499 and 1505. O and their children…Mary, Anne, and George. B.O.L.E.Y.N. !
