Welcome back to our series titled Rooted Simply Journaling. Each month I will be posting a few themed questions that you can use as journaling prompts or conversation starters.
I believe I have shared a few posts ago that I started the process to become ordained within the Wesleyan Church. I started classes last fall and I am two classes away from meeting my first goal. I split the process up into two attainable goals 1st half getting licensed and then focusing on the remainder of schooling to complete my ordination.
This month’s theme is perfect for me in this season of life. The theme for May is Change. It took a lot to step outside my safe zone to go back to school. All the while I started a new position at work in February.
Lots of change is happening in a short amount of time and for me, someone who does not like change, it is scary.
Here are this month’s prompts.
What makes you feel Safe?
Do you like change?
During times of change, do you think about what could go wrong? What could go write?
Do changes bring you… excitement…frustration… fear? How do you cope with change?
Now I challenge you to grab your favorite pen, (Mine right now are the Paper Mate Ink Joy gels) a journal, or notebook, and let’s start journaling. Questions will be posted on the first of every month.
Simply,
Jess
