Don’t lose focus. Don’t let yourself lose sight. The wheat grows with what it is given. It will reach for the light, it will produce and it will wither away. The wind will blow it and the snow will beat it down. Such a simple cycle with much hardship, but it grows because that is God’s will.
Am I in God’s will? Are you in God’s will? Sometimes I must sit in the wheat and listen to what God has to say through it. Am I letting God teach me through his creation? For me, the wheat has taught me that it has no anger, no worry. It has no doubt, no temptation.
The things that hold me back, the things I struggle with. I choose that. Often because I am hiding in the shadows. When I spend time focusing on the light, reaching for the warmth and compassion in that fellowship I grow. When I am in God’s will I grow.
Most of us are in urban areas. We are surrounded by so much that is created by man that we overlook that all the supplies to accomplish that is God created.
I encourage you to find a sunset, find a sunrise, find God’s creation in action. And come into focus with God’s will.
